I envy those couples who makes a big deal about their anniversary unlike the spouse, he doesn’t think it’s so important. But like every woman, we loved to keep tab of how many years we’ve been together and all the good and bad things we’ve been thru’ together. Well, an anniversary gift is not a bad idea either but I’ve always had trouble with Anniversary gift ideas because the spouse has just about everything and those that he wants – I don’t know how to get for him – so instead each year I would ask him what he wants and then he can go get it for himself.
This year however, I insisted that I get wined and dined for our anniversary because I refused to not celebrate all the years that I had been with him. You know it’s hard work being with a man who is not home all the time and I have to fend for myself and the kids! so yes, he better buy me a huge anniversary gift this year too! Some music would be nice and dancing too.
